Lo que usted necesita:
Un iPhone. El iOS 5 Beta 2. What you’ll need:


An iPhone.
The iOS 5 Beta 2 .IPSW, which you can get from Apple’s Developer Site, as long as you have an Apple developer account.
The latest version of Sn0wbreeze, which you can get from here.
A GEVEY Ultra SIM card, which you can get from ApplenBerry.
This method gets requires more user intervention than previous ones, but it should pay off.

                                     

Follow these steps:


Step 1: Downgrade your iPhone 4 from iOS 5 Beta 2 to iOS 4.3.3. Since Apple is still signing IOS 4.3.3 firmware, simply restoring from iTunes to 4.3.3 will do the job. This will also downgrade your baseband from 4.11.06 to 4.10.01 (required for GEVEY SIM to work).


Step 2: Create a custom iOS 5 beta 2 firmware without the upgraded baseband using Sn0wbreeze. If you’ve never used this tool, follow this tutorial. Then proceed to loading the custom .IPSW you’ve just created onto your phone.


Step 3: Do not activate your phone with Apple. Instead, get around the activation process like we’ve specified on an earlier write-up. Do not insert your GEVEY SIM at this point yet.


Step 4: Power off your phone if you haven’t already. Then, insert your GEVEY SIM, along with the SIM card you intend to use. Keep in mind that you might have to slightly cut your SIM card in order for it to fit the iPhone’s micro-SIM slot. Make sure the GEVEY SIM is placed underneath your SIM card.


Step 5: Once you’ve inserted both SIM cards, you’re ready to power your phone back on. Once it’s done booting up, wait for one signal bar to appear. Once it does, call 112. After two seconds, hang up. You don’t want to flood your town’s emergency services, do you?


Step 6: Access the phone’s settings and turn on Airplane mode. Leave it on for 45 seconds and ignore all the "No SIM card installed" errors that might pop up. Once you’ve waited 45 seconds, it should be safe to turn Airplane mode back off.


That’s it! Your iPhone 4 on iOS 5 Beta 2 should now be unlocked!


Many have questions the legality of calling 112 unless there’s an actual emergency. However, calling the number for 2 seconds shouldn’t cause any harm to the service. Either way, make sure your 112 call takes no longer than 2 seconds.

Cydia 1.1.2 Released [Update: No It Hasn't Been Released]

Update: As Saurik confirmed in the comments section, this is not an update and jailbreakers should stay away from Cydia 1.1.2.

Earlier today, Cydia 1.1.2 went live. We haven’t noticed anything major in terms of improvements, however, the only ones we’ve seen so far are some slight enhancements with search functions, and an overall slight improvement in performance, as well as a few bug fixes.

There’s no changelog present in this release either, so it’s only a small update…

Saurik commented on this post and basically said this is not an update and you should stay away from Cydia 1.1.2:

This /purposely-unreleased/ version of Cydia has only one major change in it (and four tiny things, only one of which is user-visible: the keyboard thing under Search): a modification to “stashing” (the step where your filesystem is rearranged during the initial jailbreak process) made for comex, who recently has been talking about his new platform for handling these things.

This change has not been tested on devices that are already jailbroken (well, I did a cursory test for 2 minutes, but that was all), and users upgrading to this version of Cydia do so at their own peril: Cydia might end up in a “permanent re-stash” loop, or force a stash when the user has purposely previously tricked the mechanism not to (leading to a corrupted filesystem).

In short, stay away from that. Sorry for the confusion.

If you made the switch to 1.1.2, follow these instructions to downgrade back to 1.1.1 compliments of @iPodTouchiPod:

1. Get the Cydia 1.1.1 deb file via Safari Download Manager: Multiupload.com – upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

2. Use iFile and UNARCHIVE the folder

3. Open the Cydia 1.1.1 Folder and COPY the ‘cydia_1.1.1_iphoneos-arm.deb’ file

4. Go to: /var/root/Media and PASTE the cydia deb file here

5. Now go to: /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall and PASTE the Cydia deb file here, too.

***you might have to create the Cydia and AutoInstall folders. If so, pay attention to the capitalization! You might even need to create the Media folder if it isn’t inside the /var/root/ folder***

6. Go back to the /var/root/Media folder and TAP on the Cydia deb file

7. INSTALL the Cydia deb file

8. Now REBOOT your phone.

9. You should now have Cydia!

Thankfully the first is at least true, thanks to our old favorite Redsn0w, according to reports from MuscleNerd himself. That’s great news indeed, but can it be unlocked?

We told you recently how the Gevey SIM could be used to unlock an iOS 5 device with the added bonus of it removing the need to jailbreak first – a real boon when Apple tends to break jailbreaks with each and every new iOS update.

Our very own Waisybabu explains:

It involves using a thinner-than-normal SIM card which actually needs to be insertedalong with theactual SIM card into the SIM slot. Then, you have to follow a few steps such as dialing an emergency number (112), turning Flight Mode off and on etc. to unlock your iPhone 4. It workswithout jailbreaking.

The bad news here though, is that it appears Gevey SIM has been blocked from working by Apple in its new iOS 5 beta 2 release. This means that if you’re wanting to unlock your iPhone 4 without having to jailbreak then you’ll be needing to either downgrade to iOS 4.x (assuming that you have got your old unlockable baseband preserved) or stick with the first beta.

Of course, using beta 1 has its own pitfalls – according to Apple iOS 5′s first outing will cease to work in August, so after that point you’re pretty much stumped.

MuscleNerd speculates that the reason for Apple seeing fit to block Gevey mid-beta cycle could be pressure from outside the company, presumably carriers.

What happens next is anybody’s guess. Did Apple purposefully block Gevey (including the newUltra) or was it a byproduct of another change inside iOS?

Now we can only sit and wait for the guys behind Gevey to update their unlocking tool for iOS 5′s final release.
